We are sorry to announce that the scheduled show in Teatro Iberico here in Lisboa the 19th of July has been postponed for now. The reasons for this is partly based on the fact that we are now changing our 2nd guitarist(which obviously will lead us to massive rehearsals throughout the summer) and also due to an double-booking for one of our devoted "engineers".
We will announce the new date in some weeks, so stay tuned. All in all, this will only mean more focus on getting the material for our "Blood Of Bacchus" ready by the end of the summer, so no tears to be shed ;)

Greetings everyone.
Just a quick update from a rainy Portugal.
We have now launched our "Ava Inferi Official" channel on youtube (www.youtube.com/avainferiofficial). There you can see fan-filmed footage from our show in Madrid the 2nd of February, supporting goth legends of Christian Death. For now we have 3 songs uploaded, including "Pulse Of The Earth", "A Glimpse of Sanity" & "A Dança Das Ondas". More stuff to come soon, such as private clips from recording sessions etc. So make sure to keep an eye on it.
Other news is that we have confirmed our 1st finnish date, and it will take place at Hellä, in the city of Tampere. A show in Helsinki the 9th is yet tbc. These shows will be followed by the 2 already announced shows in Norway, with possible extensions in Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
We are also, as some of you already know, heavily at work with our 3rd album "Blood Of Bacchus", and we..re now counting 6 more or less established ideas and songs. The studio has also more or less been chosen and confirmed, but more on that when the time approaches.... ...stay alert!

We are proud to announce that Ava Inferi is now confirmed for its 1st Norwegian show. The happening will take place at Club Maiden in Oslo, saturday the 11th of October. More shows will be announced within days. Stay tuned!

The clip for our debut video "Dança Das Ondas" will be taking its debut spot on Norway's TV show "Metal Svisj" on the NRK channel forthcoming Tuesday (12th of February).
So, peasants and pagans of the north; you now know what to do!
The video will also make its appearance on both MTV Hungary and MTV Norway during February/March.
Exact dates for airing will be announced asap.

Back in Portugal after our highly successful debut shows in Spain.
I would like to raise a glass in honour of Christian Death, the promoters and the attenders in both Barcelona and Madrid. We had a definite blast, and we cannot wait to go back again! Hails!
More things are coming up on the touring front in the coming months as well.
We are already rumoured to be visiting Benelux during april, and we are also in talks of doing a festival-appearance here in Portugal sometime during the 1st half of 08. So hang in there; it will be posted here when confirmed!
Other news is that we will enter Tcha Tcha Tcha studios(Lisboa)in April to record a song that didnt make it to our "The Silhouette" album. Its a hauntingly dark and emotional "Ava-esque" piano song entitled "Memoirs" and I am sure it will do its gloomy purpose, 2nd to none. Details about this "exclusive" track will be posted shortly.

Today it's the official release day for "The Silhouette"!
Lets raise the glass in praise of Bacchus and woe cheerfully "Let it be done!".
I also would like to say that we are very thrilled and happy with the
interest in our latest offering, and that the support from media and fans means everything.
The crusade has just begun.
Ava Inferi will now be featured in some of the biggest metal magazines out there the coming weeks. This includes; Sweden Rock Magazine, Scream Magazine (Nor), Elegy Iberica (Esp), Zillo (Ger), Sonic Seducer (Ger), Rock Hard (France), Mindview (Bel), Grindzone (It), Roadie Crew (Brazil), Antenna (Dk), Close Up Magazine (Swe) to name a few.

So, here we are then. Back with a brand new album and a brand new site.
Once again we would like to apologize to our fans for being so slow with updates etc., but now its with great pleasure, and with badly covered modesty we announce that the 2nd chapter of Ava Inferi is FINALLY UPON US!!.
And let the wine pour down, I say. Let it pour.....
It took its time though, as most thorough things do anyway I suppose, but Ill let you know that we are very satisfied and eager to release this album, to take the next step up and really show what we are capable of doing...
We certainly hope that you`ll like it as much as we do:) And If still doubt; "The Silhouette" is out on the 15th of October in Europe and the 23rd the rest of the world.
Oh well, Im NOT going to waste too much of your time here, just to give the latest upgrading news:
Video: We are now approaching the endtyme of the 1st ever Ava Inferi video. Its for the song "Danca das Ondas" and will be some sort of 3d animation shot and created on the finest of equipment money can buy.
The mastermind behind this upcoming art is Rui Veiga, who`s also
collaborated with Robert Trujillo from the mighty Metallica. The clip will be done in a few weeks and will be presented here as well as on many other Tv stations shortly.
Live: Yes, we are also in some talks about doing some live shows in close future. The location is Spain, . and we have already enlisted a session guitarist for the job(to be announced later). As soon as the dates are 100% confirmed they will be up here.
(Whilst speaking of live; make sure to check out our one and only Carmen Simões joining Moonspell on stage at their Halloween Show in Lisboa Colliseum. A night of great wine and music indeed)
